Narasipur was founded with the vision to be a specialist manufacturer of precision forged and machined components. We have grown into a company that is known for the high quality of its products, for our flawless delivery and our integrity in doing business
The Narasipur Group was established in 1989 by the late Mr. N.V. Aswathnarayana. A talented Mechanical Engineer with a BE from the BMS College of Engineering in Bangalore and an M.Tech from IIT Powai (Mumbai), Mr Aswathnarayana rose quickly up the ranks of the public sector giant HMT Limited at Hyderabad. He was General Manager at HMT Hyderabad when he quit the company and embarked on his dream of entrepreneurship.
“MD Sir”, as our founder was known throughout the group, was known for his emphasis on engineering excellence and high business ethics. These values have formed the bedrock upon which the group companies have grown and helped them earn the trust of their suppliers and customers.

Carrying the legacy forward
Since joining the group in 2005 Deepak Narsipur has focused on standardisation of systems and processes and expansion into new areas. He has been instrumental in setting up the Greenfield plants at Chakan (Pune) and Harohalli (Bangalore). He has also driven group-wide implementation of SAP for finance, inventory and supply chain management.
Deepak has an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from the Klipsch School of Engineering at New Mexico State State Univ., Las Cruces, NM; and a B.E in Electronics from Bangalore University.
PADMAJA NARSIPUR
Director
Branching into new sectors
Padmaja helps with strategic direction for the Narsipur Group. She previously worked with Intel Corp., in Santa Clara, CA. She currently heads one of the Narasipur Group companies, Clearly Blue Digital, a knowledge services firm with practices in Content Marketing, Learning and Design. She has an MS in Computer Science from New Mexico State University (Las Cruces, NM, USA) and an MS in Physics from Bangalore University. She is also a graduate of IIM Bangalore’s program on Entrepreneurial Studies.
The group companies are Narasipur Precision Private Limited (NPPL), located in Chakan, Pune and Narasipur Auto Components Private Limited (NACPL), located in Bangalore. NACPL operates out of two plants in Bommasandra and Harohalli.
The plants are managed by a team of experienced and expert professionals
Timeline
The journey of the Narasipur Group is one of time-tested capabilities. It has evolved from being a machining provider to an integrated solutions provider equipped with engineering, design, forging and machining capabilities.
The below timeline highlights key moments from our group’s journey.
1989
Mr N.V. Ashwathnarayana (previously senior management at HMT Ltd.) founded the first group company, Krishna Auto Industries in Hyderabad. With an MTech from IIT Powai, Mr. Ashwathnarayana was a reputed Design and Process Expert in the engineering industry.
1991
Narasipur Precision Private Limited (NPPL) is established in Hyderabad (Cherlapally) to cater to the machining requirements of transmission components of Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M).
2005
Deepak Narasipur joins the group as Director. He brings with him 14 years of experience in the computer software industry in the US, encompassing technical, design, and leadership roles. Narasipur Auto Components Private Limited (NACPL) moves to its own premises in Bommasandra Industrial Area in South Bangalore.
2014
NPPL Pune is established. This Greenfield plant is more proximal to M&M and can cater to other OEMs and industries in the Mumbai-Pune area.
2017
In January, NACPL Harohalli, an integrated facility with world-class forging and machining facilities, including a metallurgy laboratory, began production, giving our customers the advantage of backward integration. In June, our Engineering & Design Services was unveiled, making the group a true end-to-end solution provider and partner to our OEM customers. The Harohalli plant makes inroads in supporting the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry.
2022
Deepak takes over as Managing Director.
